Unlike the other chipboard calendars I've been making, this one is for a desk. The others have a magnet on the back and are great for the refrigerator door or filing cabinet, etc. I decorated 2 coasters, used jumbo brads at the top, and tied them together with taffeta ribbon.The colors of the picture are not true...the ribbon and paper strip along the bottom are both gray.
Julie will be home this weekend, so perhaps she can give me a quick lesson. She made a dvd with textures and borders that you can use to make great pictures. The dvd even has tutorials on it to help you with the process. It should be available for purchase any day now. Check out her blog for more info and for great photo tips.
