Lazy Kitty
Walking through my stamp room this morning, I spotted my cat curled up in one of my canvas bins. I can't believe he was even close to being comfortable. He weighs about 16 pounds and totally filled up the bin. He stayed in there about 3 hours before moving on to a sunny spot on the floor. Isn't he cute!

6x6 Bree Scrapbook
I am participating (as a vendor) in a scrapbook expo next weekend and thought it might be a good idea to have an album that primarily uses Stampin' Up! products. My 12x12 album that I worked on at Jill's retreat is in an album I got from Jill and has a lot of elements from Creative Memories as well as Stampin Up.
Of course the subject of my album is Bree. This is the title page. I used the SU rub-ons I got free from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I love them. Most of my previous attempts with rub-on stickers (non SU products) have proved disastrous . I really like the look of these! I also used Jill's Cricut to make the letters. She was so nice to leave it here for me to use. I love it! And so did my scrapbook friends last Tuesday!
The polka dots from the Polka Dot and Paisley set are stamped in Close to Cocoa. The Sweet Bundle of Love is from Sweet Celebrations. This is a great stamp set to use for scrapbooking.
I might add a pink gingham bow to the top left of the picture.
Pretty in Pink!
This time I made the polka dots pink and covered the entire page. This picture was taken in 2005 and was part of the photo session mentioned below.
Oh, she was so very, very cute!
These pictures are from Bree's "1st Official Photo Shoot" with her Aunt Julie. The rest of the pictures are great (not that I am biased).
This picture and the one below are black and white and I used the Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit for the 2 pages. The page is textured basic grey and the photo corners are made with regal rose. wild wasabi and designer paper. I used my new SU photo corner punch to make them.
Sometimes the photographer even gets to get her picture taken. She usually has someone stand in for her while she sets up her camera, then switches places (or sets the timer). Check out her blog for some great pictures she took over the Easter holiday.
The stickers are from the retired SS Kit "I'm Here" I have used this kit for some pages in Bree's 12x12 album...and I still have LOTS left over! I think I will use some to make some baby cards.
Even though you can usually only get one picture on a page, the 6x6 album can be a quick way to get a great memory album. I actually have 14 more pages done and have about 10 more pages that I will try finish tomorrow. My goal is to complete the pages in less than 2 hours. We'll see!
